Alumafiesta in Tucson takes place in the height of the “snowbird” season, when the skies are sunny and the air is warm in the desert southwest.
Once again we’ll be staying at the luxurious Tucson/Lazydays KOA Campground, with full hookups (including cable TV and wi-fi), and first-class facilities, from January 27 through February 1, 2015. This park offers the very best RV accommodations that Tucson has to offer, with citrus trees at your campsite, cable TV, two swimming pools, an on-site restaurant, and indoor event center. It’s close to I-10 and all the major attractions of Tucson, including downtown.
Best of all, we’ll be ideally positioned to visit the world-famous Tucson Gem and Mineral Show! Over 40 separate gem, mineral, fossil, and craft venues take over the city of Tucson starting February 1, 2015. (see map | see list). Normally it’s just about impossible to get a decent RV site anywhere in Tucson this time of year—but you’ll have no trouble booking your five-night stay at Alumafiesta. Extra nights at the campground can be booked when you make your reservation for Alumafiesta.
The 2015 agenda is in the works and you can expect a full lineup of fantastic food, fun and entertainment. You can check out last Alumafiesta’s schedule to get a general idea of what to expect, but we guarantee the 2015 schedule will not be the same!
